Chandler Stark

Chandler was an integral part of the 8020 Automotive team from 2022-2024. He holds a Master’s degree from the University of Colorado – Denver, and is a true history-buff with a passion for cars and engines.

He has deep knowledge and experience as a writer having held roles as a Professional Writing Consultant, History & Science Writer, and History teacher. While his career hasn’t been heavily automotive-focused, Chandler is incredibly knowledgeable thanks to his hands-on experience and passion for cars.

Chandler currently drives an MK7 Golf GTI with some light modifications. He previously owned a heavily modified Subaru WRX (we also suspect he’s been hiding a Harley and leather jackets somewhere). Chandler does all of his own modifications, maintenance, and repairs. He also loves the GM LS engines and Ford’s Coyote engine and brings a wealth of knowledge on historically significant engines.
