Luke Mayock

I’m Luke and I’ve been a part of the team at 8020 Automotive since 2022. I played college football for Miami University (in Ohio) where I also received a Bachelor’s degree in Sports Leadership and Philosophy. I also grew up in Sugar Land, TX and currently reside in Charleston, SC after a stint in Denver.

I’m responsible for all of our ecommerce operations at 8020 Automotive. I primarily manage our Boosted Performance and Boost Disablers brands and handle everything from fulfillment to our website and Amazon sales channels.

I have a few different vehicles but my pride and joy is my 2002 Suburban 1500 with the 5.3L V8. It’s a one-owner car and has taken me on road trips all over the US, with more than 250k miles on it. I’ve had to do a bit of maintenance on the car like the fuel pump, shocks and struts, and spark plugs but outside of these small things this car and been virtually problem free – and I like to say, if it ain’t broke don’t fix it. I’m hoping to get over 300k miles out of it, but if it doesn’t last I also have a Silverado and Tahoe, which makes me the GM guy out of the group.

Outside of my work at 8020 Automotive, I’m also a Certified Bourbon Professional. I spent a few years blogging about whiskey on my own website and have tested hundreds of different bourbon’s, rye’s, and whiskey’s on my quest to become a Master of Whiskey.
